I am currently a 6th grade teacher in Hendersonville. I have been a classroom teacher for over 20 years. I was a high school cheerleading coach, taught gymnastics, to elementary-high school age children. I later started a business working with cheerleading squads all over Middle Tennessee. I have worked with the Unity after school program, in Sumner County, was an educational tutor, for elementary & middle school children, with Varsity Tutors, and served in nurseries at church. I've worked in community youth centers and taught summer camps. On a personal note, I am a native Tennessean and former business owner of Heal Thy Soles Ministries. I've served as a team minister for Deep Waters Ministries in Sumner County, and was a team member of Layman’s Ministries which goes out into the homeless camps and meets the needs of those living there. I have served on mission teams traveling outside the Read more U.S. and was a high school youth leader for four years. I am a financial supporter of students in Uganda, Africa as well as a financial supporter of a ministry in Uttarakhand, a Garhwal community in India. I joined Sitter City because I am a single mom & understand the anxiety that comes with needing a trustworthy person, upholding character, to help with childcare. It isn't until now, that my own children have jobs & do not require my constant supervision-allowing me to utilize extra time outside of my home. Let's make your day easier!
