For as long as I can remember, I have always had a special place in my heart for little children. Their laughter and giggles have a magical way of lifting any mood. Even as a young child, I was drawn to holding babies, playing with toddlers, and engaging with kids. At 11, I eagerly became a junior helper at my church, assisting a teacher in class. By the time I was 15, I joined the nursery staff, a paid position, working on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. The following year, at 16, I transitioned to the Little Seekers Dayschool as an assistant teacher for 4-year-olds, a role I’ve joyfully returned to every summer for the past three years. In addition to this experience, I also have extensive babysitting experience, having cared for children in my neighborhood, at my church, and for others who have reached out for help. Although I’m Read more not CPR certified, I’ve received the training and am proficient in all techniques. I also attended a nursing camp during the summer of my junior year (2024), where we reviewed first aid and CPR techniques.
