I worked at a boys summer camp named Camp Ridgecrest for Boys as a Camp Counselor. I was responsible over the age groups of 7-15 at camp, primarily responsible over my own cabin which were 4 consecutive groups of 12 year old boys, ranging from supervising 5-11 boys per group. By the end of the summer I had 32 kids in my Cabin, and unexpectedly found that I had loved every minute of watching my kids. At camp we were responsible for making sure kids were safe first and foremost. In addition, we were responsible for both the physical and emotional needs of our kids, making sure they all had received showers and attention when they seemed in a bad mood.
