Hi there! My name is Rolanda Mack, and as a mom myself, I understand just how much peace of mind comes from having someone reliable, warm, and capable by your side—and I’d be honored to be that person for your family. A little about me: I’m a 29-year-old mom to a bright and sweet 15-month-old daughter, wife to an amazing husband, and dog-mom to our energetic pup, Duke. We live in Knoxville, TN, and love all things outdoors—walks, splash pads, playgrounds, and playdates with other moms and littles in our community. I’m CPR/BLS certified, a non-smoker, have a clean driving record, and reliable transportation. I’ve spent over 12 years as a nanny, with my most recent family keeping me on for nearly 5 years. I started when their youngest was just 7 months old, alongside siblings aged 5, 10, and 12. I only stepped away after having my own daughter, wanting to fully soak up her first year. Since then, the children have grown up quite a bit and no longer need full-time care. After retiring from that role, I became the Director of Kids Cove Drop-In Childcare, a licensed drop-in facility in Knoxville serving children ages 6 months to 12 years. I oversaw staff and daily operations, hired and trained new team members on child safety and licensing requirements, and managed a wide range of engaging curriculum and enrichment activities for children of all ages. I’ve had extensive experience juggling groups of children with mixed ages and creating a fun, nurturing space where every child felt included and cared for. I stepped away from the director role in February due to shifting time demands and to rebalance time with my own family, but I remain deeply connected to the mission of helping families thrive. Now that my daughter is a little older, I’m hoping to return to nannying and bringing her along with me. She’s super friendly, independent, and gentle with both babies and older kids. She’s fully vaccinated and truly thrives around other children. More than anything, I love building real relationships with the families I work with—being a parent’s right hand and helping create a peaceful, loving environment where your child can grow, learn, and just be a kid.
