Hi! My name is Aubrey Hildenbrandt, and I’m an 18-year-old college student living in Knoxville, TN. I recently moved here from Ocala, Florida to attend Pellissippi State Community College, where I’m working toward my RN, with plans to continue on for my master’s in nursing. I’m the oldest of five siblings, including three younger sisters (15, 12, and 8) and a little brother (7). Being the big sister — and often the second mom — is something I take a lot of pride in. Helping raise my siblings has given me years of hands-on experience with children of all ages, from daily routines and homework to emotional support and patience. Not only did I have younger siblings, in order to be fully there for us my mom was a nanny for many years. In high school, I also worked as a tutor for students in grades 2–10, which helped me build strong communication skills and a calm, encouraging teaching style. I’m currently working at Walmart while in school to support my rent and utilities, and I’m actively planning to become CPR and First Aid certified. I’d describe myself as a girly girl with a big heart — always excited for new adventures, but just as happy being a safe space and a shoulder to cry on. I genuinely love caring for kids and creating a warm, supportive environment where they feel comfortable, understood, and encouraged. I’m looking forward to finding a family I can support while doing what I love most: caring for children 💗
