Hello! My name is Katy and to be able to watch your young ones would be a fun and exciting adventure. I’m a prior Air Force Military Police Officer for almost 14 yrs. I got out of the military when I had my daughter. I was a stay at home mom until my children could attend school, roughly 4 yrs. Worked as a Preschool TA with the Headstart Program. Switched to a Nursery Childcare Provider at a local Daycare so I could be with the babies. I missed being around them. I love seeing a child learn new things and figure out new skills. Especially with babies. It’s amazing to see them learn something for the first time. I can’t help but to get excited for and with them. During my time at the Daycare I worked in the Nursery ( 6 weeks - 10 months), Pre School ( 3 Read more - 5 yr) and Toddler 1 ( roughly 10 months - 15 months). Switching from class to class, per the request of the Director. Doing classroom “makeovers” and squaring away the classroom for State requirements and curriculum. LOVED my job and kiddos! unfortunately I went through a long and nasty divorce. I ended up having to work two different Factory Jobs. In order to achieve a higher income and support my family. My heart and soul wasn’t in it. I’ve missed working with the little ones and now looking to do so again. Associates Degree in Criminal Justice CPR Certified and Self Aid Buddy Care Instructor Certified Attended classes for CDA Love to do arts & crafts with children, even make it a learning experience.
