My name is Catie and I am 27 years old. My babysitting experience began when I was 12 years old caring for neighborhood children. I gained most of my experience working at my mothers in-home daycare. My responsibilities consisted of caring for children infant to school age, preparing meals, cleaning, playing with imagination, reading books, assisting with preschool, making crafts, and maintaining a safe environment for the children As a high school freshman I cared for a family of three children. I stayed with this family through my senior year as it grew to 5 kids. My responsibilities included playing with the children inside and out, taking them to activities, house cleaning, meal preparing, teaching manners and responsibilities, and some overnight stays. Once out of high school I worked in group homes for developmentally disabled individuals.
