I have experience babysitting starting in high school. I was a summer nanny for two young children (ages 2 and 5) for two summers. I also have had long-term babysitting jobs with families of 2 children and 1 child. I have volunteered at a preschool art program in Boston. I am currently mentoring a 10-year old boy with Autism. This past summer (and to continue this coming summer) I worked at a residential summer camp for kids with behavioral and developmental disabilities. I helped with their daily living activities, reinforced structure, played games, created goals, and ensured the safety of the children in my bunk. Last spring I also volunteered at the Carter School with young adults with sever physical and developmental disabilities.
