My name is Shelbi Chambers. I am currently a direct support professional at Volunteers of America. I love taking care of people no matter the age, gender, disability, or sexuality. My job duties are simply. I love to cook and clean. I am very creative. As a Direct Support Professional (Caregiver with experience of intellectual disability clients) , I tend to get to know my clients. I’ve also worked with children since I was 11years old. It started with my nephew. The older I got I realize, I want to pursue my career in helping or babysitting. By the age of 17, I gained experience with 5-13 years old.
