I previously worked in after school care for the YMCA. I would tend to over 40 kids per day. I provided snack as well as ensuring a fun and safe environment for the kids. I absolutely loved my job and just getting to spend the day with all of the kids. Getting to hear about how their day was and getting to know them for themselves is what kept me going. My favorite part about my job was getting to teach the kids new things such as games to play or just helping them learn something new in school. I am CPR and first aid certified as well as many other trainings such as head trauma, blood-borne germs, etc.
