My name is Erin McGee. I grew up in the somewhat small city of Hopkinsville, Kentucky where I lived and loved until I was 18 years old. I spent my life dancing and involved in many extracurricular activities and school clubs. I began taking dance lessons at age 2, including ballet, tap, jazz, and modern. I even spent my high school years teaching small children dance classes (ages 2-10) after school. I love children and I love teaching! My home life was ideal. I grew up with a compassionate and impeccable mother and a strong, hardworking father who provided for all of my family's needs. I have one older sister who is now 27, married, and a 5th grade Social Studies school teacher. I have one younger sister who is now 22 and is an RN at Vanderbilt Hospital. I also have one younger brother who is now 17 and Read more is a Junior in High School. He is a motivated baseball player and has recently verbally committed to pitch for the University of Kentucky. After high school graduation, I relocated to Lexington, KY to attend the University of Kentucky where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Merchandising, Apparel & Textiles. I was an active member of Chi Omega sorority and I took dance classes, including ballet and modern, in my spare time to keep myself busy and relaxed outside of my studies. A life-long passion of mine is to be a Hair Stylist. I made a deal with my father to get an education before I fulfilled this dream. So, after graduation in 2013, I moved to Bowling Green, KY where I attended Lindsey Institute of Cosmetology. I graduated from Cosmetology school in January 2015. Another life-long dream is to live in Nashville, TN. So, here I am! My younger sister and I moved to Nashville one week ago and have settled in our new home, which brings me to the reason for this profile and biography. I am currently spending my time studying and preparing to take both my KY and TN state board exams. I am seeking a part-time job to help me along the way and to hopefully last for many, many months to come. I can't imagine having a better job than a Babysitting. I love children. I have much experience in helping children as well. I helped my mother with my younger brother as much as I could growing up. I also babysat him when my parents needed me to. My mother helped in the nursery at our church and she allowed me to assist her in changing diapers, cleaning up after the babies, etc. I would be honored to be considered to help care for your child/children!
