My name is Amaris ! :) I have always loved working with children. I admire children's honesty, creativity, resilience, flexibility and curiosity. The ability to be such a positive influence in a child's life and to take part in their development bring's me joy! There is nothing more rewarding than watching a child progress and grow under your care. To know, that I spend a large part of their day with them, have that impact and influence is a great feeling. I love the responsibility it brings, it is a privilege and honor. I have a combined 11 years of experience taking care of children. I have had family member's, and friends in my experience. I have also worked at a Daycare in Brentwood, Tennessee as the head infant teacher for a little over a year. I worked with ages 6 months to 5 years old there. There I made Read more bottles for the babies. I also cleaned and sterilized them. I changed their diapers, rocked them to sleep for naps. I engaged in reading and getting them on track with their milestones. (sounds, responding to touch, shapes, color's, numbers etc. I cared for 12 babies at once. So I work extremely well under pressure. I have been a nanny to many children, these are just a few below. Currently I am a Nanny as needed for a little girl I had in my infant class. She came into my care as I was departing from the daycare. I have cared for her since she was 6mons old and she is now 3 years old. I have done everything from infant care to now getting her ready for preschool. Including bathing, feeding and taking her for outings her mom requests. She has advanced under my care. She is already potty trained and knows her colors and numbers and a bunch of other things. I took care of my younger cousin when he was a child. This was between the ages of 5 years old to 10 years old. I prepared his meals, and fed him (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks). I gave him baths, and helped with homework. I did light cleaning around the house. I also had play time with him. (going to the park, circus, etc) Lastly, I cared for my neighbors' two daughters. I cared for one from ages 10 months to 5 years old. The other child I cared for was her sister, from ages 10 years old to 12 years old. I also prepared meals for them and fed them (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks). I helped with homework including tutoring. I also prepared her bottles. This included bath time and bedtime in addition.
