In addition to having been a babysitter in my youth, I just recently finished a 14 month position as an au pair with a family in France. There were three beautiful children in my care aged 5, 7, and 10 years. It was the greatest experience of my life and caring for the children taught me a lot about myself and allowed me to really connect with the three babes. I now feel more patient and I learned my limits as well as theirs. I cared for the children in the mornings and the afternoon/early evening while the parents were at work. I would chauffeur them to and from activities as well as little field trips together. I was hired to help teach them English as a second language as well as care for them while their parents were away. Before my time as an au pair, I was a Read more summer camp counselor for several years when I was in college. There I cared for many different personalities and ages. I really enjoy working with children and have every intention of doing so until I can have some of my own! I am presently a caregiver at a senior living facility. While I am mostly available in the mornings before noon, I will have some weekend and evening availability as well.
