I started babysitting my cousins when I was in junior high (they were 4,6, 10mo, and 3). Aside from that, I babysat siblings outside of my family when I was 16 for a summer. I loved the feeling of trust that was given to me to serve the kids and their parents. I believe that who is caring for your children is very important in their mental and emotional development, so I’ve always been willing to learn how to serve the age group and different phases. I was a nursing student in high school, so I received CPR certification. I haven’t renewed my certification, but that is something I can and will do. I’ve received sexual assault training because I’m a resident assistant at my university. Being a resident assistant has equipped me with various skills to be able to serve people from every walk of life and every demographic.
