Hi! I'm Katie. I finished schooling at Theatre major at The Theatre Conservatory at Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University in the fall of 2013. I currently live in North Hollywood, CA. I am a singer-songwriter. I am looking for a part time (Monday-Friday) babysitting position or even for your occasional date night! I have experience with teaching kids and babysitting kids for the past five years. I am not babysitting any families currently. In the past, I have often babysat children from ages 2 up to 14 years old and mostly every family has had a pet, usually a dog. I am used to caring for dogs of all sizes as well as cats (and I have two medium sized dogs myself)! Along with babysitting, I have lots of experience with dog sitting/walking). I am most comfortable babysitting children who are from ages 2-12+ and have the Read more most experience with children of that age. I have done lots of volunteer work when attending college, working in our school's office. I had previously been involved with interning at Kids On Stage Summer Academy, volunteering to teach theatre/dance to young kids as well as Destination Broadway in NYC, teaching with a highly regarded faculty to young kids interested in the arts. I speak English fluently and I also speak a bit of Spanish (and understand it very well). I am an active, energectic, playful, patient person who loves teaching and spending time with kids. I enjoy singing, dancing, acting as well as music and art. I play guitar and piano, so if your child needs a tutor as well as a babysitter, I am more then willing to help! I love being outdoors and playing all kinds of sports so if your child is really athletic, I would definitely be able to keep up. Alongside, I show great interests in Harry Potter, Batman, Barbie, and all the Disney Princesses, so if your child needs any questions answered about these things or simply could use someone who shows their love for their favorite game, I am your girl! I am pretty available throughout the week, so I am willing to negotiate a time that works best for you.
