I have over 10 years of experience with children. I spent my younger years occasionally babysitting; teaching martial arts classes to children; taking courses in child development, where I taught some preschool classes; and taking courses in elementary education. I spent well over a decade working as an EMT, with about 5 years of experience as an EMS supervisor, primarily in a city environment; but I worked in suburban and rural areas, as well. In EMS, I have cared for children of varying ages, including those with disabilities. In that field, I was required to go through disability training, as well as CPR. I have spent years babysitting my friends' kids, nieces, nephews, and now my own 2 daughters. I am currently a stay-at-home mom with a 4 1/2-year-old and an almost 3-year-old.
