I have always had compassion for helping others throughout my life. During highschool I was enrolled in peer mentoring classes where I helped fellow students with mental disabilities. Along with peer mentoring I assisted pre- k and kindergarten teachers by reading to the classes and helping with daily activities. I'm the oldest of my three younger siblings, the youngest being 7 and the oldest at 16. I have provided care to children of all ages and thoroughly enjoy teaching and entertaining them. I am currently interning with my family business where one of our services is going into schools with our literacy program and teaching kids of all ages how to write songs. I enjoy writing, reading, poetry, art, music, outdoors, hiking, volunteering, sports and many other activities.
