My grandmother was the director of the First United Methodist Nursey School in Santa Monica, California where I would spend days playing and reading to children starting at the age of 13. I married into the military and had three children of my own who are now in their teens. We have all frequently helped watch children of our military friends and still help babysit as well as pet sit/ foster.
