Hi there! I’m Stephanie Short. I’m 23 years old and currently completing my Bachelor’s degree at Middle Tennessee State University, set to graduate this summer. Alongside my studies, I’m interning with a general contractor, which has given me great organizational and multitasking skills—something that definitely helps in childcare too! I grew up in a military family, moving frequently and learning how to adapt to new situations with ease. I’m one of five siblings, so I’ve been surrounded by children my whole life and know how to balance fun, structure, and safety. I have many years of babysitting and nannying experience, working with children of all ages—from infants to school-aged kids. I’ve also worked in two professional daycare settings, specifically in the infant and toddler rooms, which gave me hands-on experience in early childhood development, feeding schedules, nap routines, and age-appropriate play. I’m comfortable caring for multiple children at once, including Read more babies and toddlers with varying needs. Beyond childcare, I’m happy to assist with light housework, laundry, meal prep, homework help, and pet care. I understand how helpful it is to have an extra set of hands around the house, and I take pride in being reliable, patient, and nurturing. I’m passionate about creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children to grow and thrive in. Whether we’re doing crafts, playing outside, or reading books together, I always aim to make our time both fun and meaningful.
