I have a love for children like no other that started from when I was very young. I believe wholeheartedly that children are the most important thing in their parent's life, if not in others. I started out babysitting when I was 12. I have been a substitute teacher, worked at a church nursery, was a preschool teacher and loved every minute of it. I have experience with all ages and children with disabilities. I believe when you work with children it is a blessing. I think sometimes people are too caught up in their day to day and they are too busy to actually play with their children. I believe those precious moments shouldn't be taken for granted. I also love doing arts/crafts, activities, etc and not just putting them in front of a television. The joy I received when teaching preschool was amazing. To see the fascination and Read more excitement that the children had when they learned new things was something I'll never forget and listening to the parents tell me about how excited the children were about learning was an extra reward. I also took in a 2 yr old little boy from CPS that I had for almost a year. I have taken classes on child development and first aid and cpr, however, because I was previously working in another field, it has expired, but I can renew it at any time and will. I've recently decided to get back involved working with children because I've realized that I am happiest then. If you have any other question, comments , please feel free to email/text me.
