I’ve been a babysitter for about three years now. I’ve had a few bad experiences where the kids aren’t disciplined but besides that most experiences are good. I’ve take a very understanding and appropriate approach with kids because I want to respect just as they should respect me. I usually follow rules given to me by the guardians and/or parents of the children. However, I will make sure they do their homework, chores, or any given task made by the parents/guardians, they’ll eat, and I’ll give them time to play. I’m very easy and outgoing but if I need to put my foot down, I will do so in a way that does not scare or hurt the child. I’m easy to contact, I’m very understanding and I’ll usually play with the kids the whole time I am there.
