Growing up as an only child, I always wanted little siblings. I’ve always loved taking care of children, whether cousins or children in my neighborhood. My mother is a teacher, so perhaps it’s in my blood. I am currently attending school as an English major, and reading is one of my favorite pastimes. I hope to encourage reading and other learning activities as opposed to excessive screen time when I take care of kids, and I hope to nurture a love for words as strong as I have.
