Meet Jenna

My name is Jenna and I am currently pursuing my bachelors in nursing. I have my basic life support certification because of this (for CPR) which may give a little more peace of mind. I have babysat for family and friends before as well as another family, but most of my childcare experience comes from working at Kidventure. I worked for their after school program for about 4 months (before COVID took over) and then during the summer for about 3 months while COVID was happening. In this time, I helped kids with their school work, group activities, first aid, games and just simply having fun. I make it a priority in my childcare to ensure that the child/children get their school work done before anything else, and then the fun can commence. I enjoy working and being around kids because I believe I am always a kid at heart Read more (like many other adults too!). I have my own transportation as well. As I learn more in nursing school, I also learn more about the development of children and how vital it is for them to have care that is well-rounded and I believe I can support that.
