Besides having a child of my own, which I think is where you gain the most experience firsthand, I took child psychology classes in college which taught me a lot of really important parenting skills. I take pride in knowing that my own son is not the screaming, irreverent child in public because he receives the emotional support and discipline that a child needs. I also am very proud that my four year old not only can recognize and write all of his letters, he is also very good at addition and subtraction. The key to having a child grow into a successful adult is to provide them with the attention they need as a small child. After all, it is a scientific fact that by the age of 5, children's brains are already 98% developed. I have recently moved to Brazoria county after my husband accepted a job with Read more what will be his career for many years to come, so we had to relocate to the area. I have tried unsuccessfully to find that magical Monday through Friday job, so I am turning to other options. I understand that childcare can be very expensive as equally as living expenses can be, so I am willing to work with you. It is a difficult world we live in now and if I can be of any help, I would be honored.
