Hello! My name is Dana...I earned my Bachelor’s degree at Texas Woman’s University in 2008. My major was Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in English Language Arts and Reading (4-8). I have worked with kids for over ten years! My teaching background includes day care work with all ages for seven years, student teaching in Dallas ISD where I was a co-teacher in a 4th and 6th grade English Language Arts and Reading class, as well, I was a long-term 5th grade reading substitute in Dallas. I completed my first year of teaching for the 2009-2010 school year in McKinney ISD as a 6th grade english teacher/volleyball coach. Furthermore, I taught 6th grade reading for 5 years in Dallas and 7th grade reading for 2 years in Irving ISD.
