Hi there! My name is Chelsea and I would absolutely love to work for your family. I have about 7-8 years of childcare experience and absolutely adore working with kiddos. I have proof of CPR and first aid certification (done a CPR course 2x in the last year), as well as a drivers license, valid insurance, and my own car for transportation. I graduated high school at 16 with honors and a 4. 1 GPA, and I am currently in National Honors Society and Phi Theta Kappa. I am entering my senior year of college and will attain a Bachelors in Psychology. I hope to be a child therapist someday, as I truly love working with kiddos. I believe in implementing my Psychology skills through my work with children in any way I can. I believe that even if a child is crying or upset for a reason that us Read more as adults might think is silly, that to them they are truly hurting and feel like their world is falling apart. I believe in being patient, listening to what they have to say, being understanding of mistakes, and using breathing exercises to calm down when upset. It is very important to me that children feel safe talking to me and know that they can come to me about anything at anytime. I previously taught K-1st graders, and I am now an after school care site supervisor for around 35 kiddos! I also previously did coaching for a few different sports with kiddos aged 1 and a half to 12 so I have experience with infants and toddlers! I also served many years in the 3’s classroom at my church :) I was previously an art and crafts club leader, so I have plenty of fun crafts and activities to do with your kiddo(s)! I also cook, run errands, laundry, and do light housework to help out with any extra needs as well. :) My car is more than welcome to be used to take kiddos to and from places! I have many volunteer hours at a local animal shelter, so I am okay with any animals of any size or breed (yes even pit bulls!) :) Price CAN be negotiated!
