Hello! My name is Kobie. I am 20 years old and I go to NCTC. I am a pre-nursing major and I’m in my second year right now. My dream job would be to work with kids as a pediatric or neonatal nurse. I grew up as the babysitter in my parents friend group. I always watched the younger kids when the parents wanted a night out or just needed some time for themselves. I absolutely loved it even though I wasn’t getting paid. That didn’t matter to me. I just loved getting to spend time with them and I loved the fact that they looked up to me. I like when I can be a good role model to younger children and take care of them. With that being, said I’ve been watching kids off and on since I was about 12. I was also a summer camp leader Read more through the City of Corinth before covid shut everything down. I became CPR and first aid certified in that job. Some of my other responsibilities with the summer camp included being able to come up with games for the kids to play, making sure they were always safe and communicating with their parents as well. On some days, we would take them on field trips and I would be responsible for about 10 kids for the day. I feel like that really prepared me for a nanny or babysitting job. I am super excited to meet y’all and I hope I can be a good fit for y’all!
