I am 48 years old. I have worked as a teenager in my neighborhood babysitting. I have 4 children of my own. I have a 25 year old daughter and 23, 17 & 16 year old sons. I love children. I have always been told that I am so good with children. I believe that children’s minds are little sponges and need positive energy, encouragement, creative play and they need to feel that they are safe, seen, heard and loved to be able to thrive. While I have not ever professionally been involved with child care, I have life experience from helping taking care of my sister who has disabilities, babysitting as a teenager, helping my brother with his two sons and raising my own 4 wonderful children. I love reading to children & playing games and making art. I believe children are special and each have their own gifts. Read more I would love a chance to be a positive influence and a helpful service to the parents. I have my own car so I can pick up/drop off or run errands if needed. I can also help with meals (I’m a good cook and baker). I can maybe help with homework, I will certainly do my best to.
