I have been taking care of infants and children for 42 yrs off and on. I am a single mother of 2 boys that are teenagers now. I was my mothers backup for 32 yrs. But she is retired now. I worked in the childcare area at the YMCA for a couple of yrs in the mid 80's for a couple of years. I took care of a little girl at 7mths old in the mid 80's until she was 5 yrs old and then off & on at nights when her mother worked. She was a singer/actress and performed at night. Some days and sometimes overnight when she went out of town. Also, was a nanny for a couple of years for 2 children for 2 to 3 years during the early 90's while I went to college. I major in Medical Assistant/Administrative. I am not a certified MA. Read more I do have my Associate Science degree. I am not CPR or First Aid certified. I use to be when I was my mothers childcare back up. I have been doing this for years, plus raised two of my children. I love children and love to entertain them, I would just follow the parents instructions on there needs for there children. Read books, color or draw with them, help them with homework if needed, bathe, feed, play with them indoors or outdoors, get them ready for bed, watch for there safety.
