I am currently a grad student at Oregon Health and Science University-Portland State University studying Public Health (Epidemiology). I am the eldest of four daughters, the youngest being 7 years old now. I have been watching my sisters without adult supervision since I was 10 years old, so you could say I have 11 years of childcare experience. At the age of 15 I was able to calmly get my youngest sister to the hospital when her fever spiked to 104 in a matter of minutes and she had a seizure, so I know how to think quickly and act even quicker. I am CPR and first-aid certified. So aside from being confident that I can keep your child safe, I am also certain that I can keep them active and having fun. I love arts and crafts, singing, acting, dancing, yoga, and anything outdoors. I have experience communicating in Read more Spanish as well as ASL, if need be. I am also a pretty great cook and have been cleaning since I was 9 yrs old so I don't mind cleaning and cooking if needed. I will warn you, people have been known to fall in love with my shrimp alfredo and cajun pasta recipes. Also, I do have my own transportation. I drive a 2013 Buick Verano. I Love Kyra. I'm sad that she moved away. I would love for her to be my daughter's sitter. I hired Kyra to watch two 7 year olds and she was wonderful. She took them to the park and even swimming. She also prepared meals for them. I now have a newborn and on the search for another sitter and sad that she is not near! Proud of your accomplishments though!
