Hello! I would like to start off by introduction myself. My name is Lindsey and I recently moved to Austin for a career in advertising. I am originally from Kansas City, Missouri (home of the 2nd best BBQ) and have been babysitting for about 12 years. I love it here in Austin and I am really excited to begin babysitting again. In Kansas City, I regularly babysat for three families. Three mornings a week I would arrive at one of the families homes to get their three children ready for school and drop them off. The other two families I worked with also had three kids but I babysat more for date nights and short notice. I built a really great relationship with these families and worked for them for 3 years, all of which were from Care.com. I really like to do arts and crafts and coloring with children Read more as well as chatting and getting to know them. I think it is really important to not just babysit but also build a relationship and be a person the child can trust. In addition to that, building a relationship with the parents is also important for them to know who is watching their children and build trust. I have a super flexible schedule, which allows me to help out when families get in a bind or something pops up. I am really excited to start babysitting here in Austin!
