Hi, My name is Emily! I Have a B. A in sociology and am looking to go back to get my masters in school counseling in a few years. I chose to do school counseling so I can work in a school setting helping kids and families in need. My passion is children and I love working with them. I have been babysitting since high school and have babysat for families with children on the autism spectrum. I have also volunteered in a home daycare center that has infants 3 months up to 4 years. After college I was a full-time nanny for a great family in Boston with an infant daughter. I was her care provider from age 3 months until she was a year old. Most recently I babysat a little girl on the weekday mornings. I began watching her when she was 9 months old and stayed Read more with her until she was almost 2! In addition to babysitting and nannying I was the site director of two after school programs at an elementary and middle school. I have completed 12 hours of training from the Massachusetts department of early education and care this year and am also American Red Cross CPR & First aid certified!
