Hello, my name is Sylvia Gautier, I am 19 years old and currently living on my own as I attend school and work part-time as a cake decorator at HEB. I am the eldest of three girls and have been trusted alone to take care of my sisters since I was tall enough to reach a microwave, which would have made me about 10 years old. I have no professional experience as a sitter but I do frequently take care of the many younger cousins I have- they total to four girls and five boys all under the age of 7. At HEB, I mostly work the weekends usually no later than 5 p.m.. As for school, I go Mondays through Thursdays for a total of 12 credit hours this semester. I am working towards my associates in specialized accounting before going on to university to earn my CPA. My Read more availability is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Tuesdays and Thursdays are dedicated to school but the weekends are open during the evening. I love helping kids be active and creative; with my cousins we're either always running around and being silly or sitting together and being silly. If your kid wants to sing Frozen for an hour, I'll help them do their best Elsa impersonation. If they want to reenacte Star Lord's dance off at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy, then so be it. Barring parental restrictions, I can teach the kids a thing or two on how to decorate a cake, dance some crazy sick moves, draw, paint, climb, you name it. I can also provide homework help, as well as find ways to incorporate education into fun activities. I'm currently helping my cousin Blossom learn some simple Spanish through Loteria, which is just BINGO but with Spanish words and images instead of I-25. I can bring my own materials (i.e coloring books, paints, Disney movies, toys, etc.) and even snacks; if you would like to provide a list of pre-approved items of such that would be welcome.
