I am a retired grandmother that is looking to pick up extra work in the area of babysitting. I can do some weekends but would rather do the sitting during the weekday. I am currently sitting a baby 5 mos baby girl for my neighbor. Usually finished with her by 2pm each M-F. I am a grandmother and have 7 grand children. My oldest grand daughter is 17 yrs of age and that is a plus because if you are in need of extra folks to sit she is available to do so. I raised her and 4 sons, so I have experience in sitting with both males and females. I love children and may take up substitute teaching if the opportunity presents itself one day. Right now I am looking for work for myself and my granddaughter. I can come to your home and sit or you can bring Read more your child to me if that is a good solution for you. I will work out the salary per situation to best suite the job. I am flexible and willing to travel with family if given enough notice, but do not want that to be a part of job opportunity in case travel is not useful to my situation. I do not work with a dog present in the house, so if you have pets and don't have any where to put them away from the inside of the house, I am not the person you are looking for. I strive on doing the best job possible for my employees in what ever capacity that I am in. I really would appreciate being given a try and will do my best to accommidate the person that I am working for. I do have transportation and do not mind going to the customer. Need prior notice if I am babysitting as far in advance as possible,, because I set my schedule monthly so I will have time to fulfill my obligations. Just asking for a chance to prove myself and be given an opportunity to land a job in the babysitting business. I do not go very much, but will consider any opportunity that presents it self. Customer can request reference upon hiring. I am energetic and get around well for my age, I still play basketball with my grandson and football. I don't mind staying late but may not be able to stay overnight. My past babysitting experiences were a long time ago I sat for George Weems and wife, the ages of the children were 8 and 9 yrs of age a boy and a girl. Then shortly after I started to work for them I they had a baby, I only worked for them a year longer and then I left. I will sit all ages male or female. I am looking forward to finding enjoyable work experiences with some family that are in need of a babysitter.
