I recently relocated to Austin from Chicago, so I am looking for a part-time job while I look for employment in my preferred field.As a very involved aunt to a 3 1/2 girl and 1 1/2 boy, I know the importance of making informed decisions when it comes to children-- so let me tell you a little about myself so you can find the perfect fit for your family. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of St. Francis. As a student, I helped coordinate and develop numerous outreach events and volunteered as a telephone counselor at the Crisis Line of Will and Grundy Counties. I have one year of experience working as an Extended Care Case Manager and Counselor at Stepping Stones, an agency that provides treatment for individuals with substance use disorder. Prior to working at Stepping Stones, I worked at LA Fitness as Read more Front Desk Staff for 4 years. Front desk staff acts as Kid's Klub counselors as well, which involves communicating empathetically to parents the behavior of their children and facilitating a safe environment for 1-35 children while fairly attending to their needs. Lastly, I worked through Bobby Bear Fun and Fitness as a Children's Health Coordinator in 2014. Bobby Bear is an exercise and nutrition program for children ages 2 and up!
