Hello! My name is Laura, and I started babysitting when I was 14 and my baby brother was born. I babysat him very often throughout when I was home and still when I go back to visit; he is now a 6 year old, Star Wars and Minecraft obsessed first grader. I also babysat other kids in the 3-4 age group around Fort Worth, where I grew up. And I got additional experience with kids through my volunteer activities. In high school I worked as a candy-striper at Cook Children's Hospital, as well as a tutor for middle-school aged kids. As a sophomore, I now mentor a fifth grader at KIPP middle school in Austin.
