My name is Jessie Melton, I am 24. I’m currently a teacher. I’ve taught kindergarten, first grade, and will be teaching prek3 in the fall. I have a bachelors in psychology as well as in child development and just finished my masters in education. I also have a early childhood intervention certificate. Before teaching, I babysat for several years and have worked at daycare centers and a Montessori preschool. I work well with all ages but most of my experience is with children between 1-6. Something fun about me: I play the piano and the ukulele. I have a passion for music and art and love sharing that with children who show an interest. I’m comfortable driving children and taking them places to make their time with me more entertaining. I love reading with kids, exploring with them, and helping them have fun while making sure they’re safe and disciplined.
