Hello parents! I am visiting NYC until the end of the month. I am looking for short term babysitting positions on weekdays within the range of 9am - 6pm near Tribeca. I am a recent graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in Middle School Education! While I specialize in adolescent education, I love working with all ages. I am willing to offer Language Arts tutoring services for an up-charge while babysitting if your child would benefit from academic support. I have 6+ years of experience babysitting both informally and formally (I was previously employed by KidMinCare before my student teaching semester) as well a Middle Grades teaching license (which included a full time internship position in a 6th grade classroom last spring! Let me take a moment away from business talk to tell you a bit about myself! I love being outside, creating art, dancing, listening to Read more music, and playing dress-up (yes, adults play dress-up too- it's called thrifting ;)! If your child is creative in any sense of the word, I know we'll enjoy our time together! I would like to meet the family first (in person or over zoom) before committing to the position.
