I grew up in a house where I was the second oldest of seven kids, which was an early beginning to learning how to care for children. In high school, I worked for an after school program with kindergarten through fifth grade kids and also babysat infants, toddlers, and more school age children frequently. I’ve spent the last two summers working at a summer camp in Vermont, where I teach outdoor living, farming, rock climbing, swimming, and many other outdoor concepts to kids ages 3-10. This is where I received my Wilderness First Aid, Inclusivity and Equity Training, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Last year, I began working as a preschool teacher at Children’s Courtyard in Cedar Park. I truly enjoy spending time teaching and learning about children. I’m very good with them and very patient.
