Hi my name is Mattie, I am 24, and I am a preschool teacher here in Austin. As summer break is approaching, I know families are looking for childcare and I am looking for a temporary summer job! I would love to chat with you and see if we would be a good fit for each other. I graduated from Texas Women's University in May of 2021 and moved back home to Austin to be a preschool teacher. I started babysitting at 13 and over the years I have been in several child care positions such as camp counselor, assistant camp director, summer nanny, full-time nanny, And now preschool teacher. Being a nanny was one of the greatest joys of my life and I'm excited to return for the summer. I loved getting to take kids on outings and immersing them in new experiences to see what this city has Read more to offer. I am big on teaching life skills in the most fun way (very Mary Poppins of me, I know) and imaginative play as I feel both are important for development. I am CPR and First Aid certified as well.
