I grew up as 1 of 11 kids in counting. So there has always been opportunities for me to work with younger children and help my parents out. Since then I have worked as a child caregiver in almost every way and setting. I’ve work most with ages infant to 12 but have also worked with all ages up to 17. currently, i am working with two special needs boys. Formerly, I was given a wonderful opportunity to work with foster children. Working with these children boost my confidence in deescalating situations and recognizing tiggers from trauma. This opportunity has reinforced my resources to work with children who have special needs. I am trauma informed and CPR certified. I also have my food handlers.
