I started caring for children at church in our nursery as well as Sunday School teacher & children's choir director. All of these take love & patience. 💓 After marriage, I had my own children. I followed them to school and worked in the public schools for many years. I worked the After-school Programs, taught Enrichment classes with 20-30 kids, and I tutored students in small groups or even one on one. I also tutored & trained children in their homes (ages 1-15) in various subjects including potty training, table manners, homework, structure, routine and more. Because every child is different, I’m aware that the training, teaching & structure I use is not the same for each child. I also worked in Child Care Centers & Day Cares. I see the potential in each child. I enjoy playing games, music & reading. I have been around children all my life. I enjoy children and bringing the good out of each one. I love that they love me as well. I am currently a teacher in our Children's Ministry Program at our church. I was the Children's Director for years but stepped down due to other roles I carried in my church. In my previous elementary school, several children called me "mom". The parents really enjoyed it because they knew that I would care for their children while they were in school. Still, today, as kids see me in stores, they'll run to me and call me "mom'. :) It’s so precious. ☺️
