I am currently an elementary school teacher at Davis ES and am looking to spend a couple evenings during the week or on the weekend taking care of kids to earn a little extra money. As a childcare provider, I have several of experience. I have babysat since high school, worked in a program called PALs (https://www.palusa.org/) with kids in need of special attention, coached kids’ soccer, and nannied three families-- staying with the family I nannied most recently for three years. I am happy to provide references and a resume at request. As a person, which I feel is even more important, I care deeply about children and their development (enough to become a teacher!) and enjoy engaging kids in fun and educational games and activities (Especially in those younger years social skills, motor skills, and general learning is so important). I am currently a Latin instructor, but enjoy teaching English, math, history, and very basic Arabic as well and would be happy to assist your kiddos in any of these areas. In my free time, I love to spend time outdoors and get some exercise. I also enjoy reading, writing, and painting- you can find me in the park with an iced coffee reading or painting on nice days!
