I am a Pediatric Psychology with a speciality in Birth to Kinder and minor in Special Education at The University of Arkansas. I am a 20 year old who has a deep rooted passion and love for children. My ideal summer would be playing with and building relationships with children and families in my community. I have 4 years experience working with children and 6 years working with children in a professional setting. I am energetic, creative, and responsible. My adoration for children began in middle school when my family fostered a child. I then went on to be a PAL (Peer Assisted Leader) at Dripping Springs High School, this is where my love for Special Education started. I worked at a local preschool called Your Growing Child. My love for children is the motivation for my personal and occupational future. I want to have a personal relationship with a Read more family and their children so that I can practice the knowledge I have learned in my classes in a hands on environment. I have learned far more from children than I could ever teach them. I am empathetic and want to teach children to face adversity and pain with compassion, confidence, and grace.
