Hello! My name is Kawtar. I'm a recent graduate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where I majored in animation and motion graphics & visual effects. Art & drawing has always been a large part of my life since I could hold a crayon. It always helped connect me with the other children in my class and I think doing animation is my way of staying connected to my inner youth and kids now. I talked with Kawtar via the phone and absolutely loved her and was looking forward to meeting in person. A few days later we confirmed a day and time. She said she was looking forward to meeting as well. The morning of our meeting, I texted her to confirm a location. She didn't reply. Didn't show. Never called/emailed/texted to apologize or explain. This was very disappointing, especially since I planned my day around this meeting and didn't pursue other applicants who I've now missed the chance on hiring. Overall, just not reliable or considerate. I rarely leave poor reviews, but I thought it should share for other parents needing someone reliable. If I ever hear from her, and perhaps there was an emergency issue that day, I will certainly update or remove the review.
