Hello, My name is Georgia! I currently attend Texas State University and am working toward a bachelors in International Studies with a concentration in Latin America. I started babysitting when I was 15 years old, I would look after my moms friends kids while they went on date nights, ran errands, or they just needed a break! My job then was to ensure that the children were safe, fed, and entertained. Sometimes the parents would ask me to put the kids to bed before they returned home. Last year, I worked at Stepping Stone Schools in Austin for about one year. My duties there consisted of following a routine for the age group I was working with, which required me to make sure the children were checked in and fed in the morning, plan and perform activities with the kids throughout the day, ensure their health and safety during outdoor Read more activities, make sure that they eat their prepared lunch, lay them down for nap, and ensure that they are picked up by their parents. During my time there, we were required to keep close communication with their guardians throughout the day, which would ease the minds of many parents. I am used to working with age groups infants to preschool. I am comfortable working with all age groups. My availability is Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday after 1130AM, due to my school schedule.
