I am looking for a way to supplement my income... one way I thought was to go back to babysitting. I have lots of experience watching 'littles!" In addition to teaching, ( I taught grades 2nd, 1st, and Pre-K), I also have experience working with children from ages 6-10 from being apart of my school's after-school program, where I helped them with their homework and did one on one tutoring. Prior to being a fulltime classroom teacher, I worked in a childcare facility for 14 months where I wore many hats, including being a floater for a toddler teacher, in addition to my full-time position as Lead Pre-K Teacher. I currently work as a Childcare Teacher for First United Methodist Church in downtown Austin on Sunday mornings watching children from ages 3 months- 5 years old.
