Dear Person of Interest I am a change-maker, an educator who places an emphasis on the growth of the whole student. I come from a growth mindset approach and practice experiential education. I have created small, large, short term, and long term experiential education programs based on outdoor (and steam) education. I have a deep love for environmental education and am performing my dissertation on the effects of environmentally based experiential education on the growth and development of the student. I am a passionate learner who believes that we all have the opportunity to learn. In my eyes, education is a great equalizer and it is our responsibility as educators to improve the opportunity and environment for students to achieve their passions.
