Heyyy! My name is Shamya (Shuh-mya). I'm a current college student and I'm looking for work during the summer, and of course working with kids would be amazing! I love educating the upcoming generation to help them grow into intelligent individuals. I also aspire encouraging them to reach their goals, because the sky is not even the limit, soar higher! So about my experience... I have a little brother who is currently 9 years old, and though he may be a handful, its nothing I can't handle on a daily basis. A few years ago I worked at a home-owned daycare. I assisted with meal prep and coordinating activities for the kids to learn while having fun. I am willing to assist with homework and also help adopt healthier habits. One word I can used to describe myself is reliable. When given a task my tenacious spirit will ensure its accomplished. I want to see the upcoming generation have the tools they need to be successful, and that includes having a strong support system. Therefore, with that being a goal of mines I will strive to ensure any child I come across, at least learns something new. If I can become of any type of support to them, then that would be an honor, because I genuinely want them to succeed!
