Hello, my name is Alana! I am 22 years old and currently planning to return back to school to obtain my B.A. in Special & Elementary Education. I have always loved children and have at least a decade's worth of experience in babysitting children, from watching young toddlers of parents at my local church, to my 2 younger siblings for several days on end. However, I'd really like to broaden my skillset in babysitting and am very much open to nannying as well. I believe it would translate really well into my future career as an preschool/elementary age teacher and tutor. I am intelligent, quick to act, bubbly & fun, and understand how to stay calm in unexpected situations. I have had experience in maintaining the attention span of young children and encouraging their mind towards imaginative and appropriate play. I may not have much experience in a more "official" childcare environment/setting, but I am a quick learner and understand that it is crucial to continue gaining knowledge and experience in this area of expertise!
